I last saw my baby,

Just before the siege,

She was dancing,

Dancing in between the trees

When the big flash came,

You could feel the heat,

We’re two thousand years old,

But still trying to get free,

Of the ATOM BOMB,

Now a few old men

Who should be dead,

About fear of the Reds,

But I’d rather by a Communist,

Than honourably dead,

If peace don’t come.

There’s a problem with the ozone,

In this nuclear sea,

And there’s cracks in the Earth,

Where it used to be green,

There’s a sickness in our system,

From radiation in the air,

I’m gonna fight it in the streets,

‘Cos it scares me to death,

and I’d rather be an anarchist,

than be honourably dead,
